art thou = are you
This is a very popular quote, although its very VERY commonly misunderstood.. When Juliet Capulet says, "Where for art thou Romeo?" in the famous play Romeo and Juliet, she isn't actually asking where are you? She is saying why must you be a Montague, the one family, my family, despises. Hope this helps.
