Ladybirds, or ladybugs, reproduce through a process called mating, where the male and female come together to mate. After mating, the female lays clusters of eggs, usually on the underside of leaves, to protect them from predators. The eggs hatch into larvae, which then undergo several molts before pupating and eventually emerging as adult ladybirds. This lifecycle allows for rapid population growth, especially in environments rich in aphids, their primary food source.
