What is an example of legislative Veto?

A legislative veto is a provision that allows a legislative body to reject or overturn an executive action or decision. An example of this occurred in the United States with the War Powers Resolution of 1973, which allowed Congress to withdraw military forces deployed by the President after a certain period without congressional approval. Although the legislative veto was used in various instances, it was ultimately deemed unconstitutional by the Supreme Court in the 1983 case of Immigration and Naturalization Service v. Chadha.
