How many principalities exist in the world?

As of now, there are a few recognized principalities in the world, with the most notable being Monaco, Liechtenstein, and Andorra. These are sovereign states ruled by a prince or a similar title. While the exact number can vary slightly due to geopolitical changes, there are generally three to five commonly recognized principalities today.
