What are two different types of persecution?

One type involves personal physical attack, including acts of violence, imprisonment, torture and even death.

A second type involves Words which attack, ridicule, belittle and otherwise show contempt for the persecuted.

Both types occur in the world today towards Christians. The latter on this site.
