Who sailed to NY Harbor?

Many historical figures and events are associated with sailing to New York Harbor, but one of the most notable is the arrival of the ship "The Mayflower" in 1620, which carried the Pilgrims to America. Additionally, French General Marquis de Lafayette and his troops sailed to New York Harbor in 1780 to aid the American Revolution. The harbor has also welcomed countless immigrants throughout history, arriving on various ships in search of a new life in America.
