The simple future tense simply refers to actions that will happen in the future.

(e.g. I will sing on your birthday)

It follows this structure:

  • Subject + Will + Verb

The future progressive (or continuous) tense talks about an action at a particular moment in the future.

(e.g. I will be working when you arrive)

It follows this structure:

  • Subject + Will + Be + Present Participle.
