How do you save energy in your classroom?

Here are some simple things that you can do to save energy in a classroom...

*If you don't need them or when you are not in the room, turn the lights off.

*When it is hot, turn off the lights or open a window instead of air conditioning.

*When it is cold, close the door and Windows to keep more heat in.

*Put recycling bins for cans (if food / drinks are allowed in the class) and especially for paper materials to be recycled.

*If you have a sink, don't let the water run.

*Unplug things (projectors, computers, lamps, and things that go into a wall outlet) - if possible - when they are not in use.

*Use energy-efficient light bulbs.
You can turn off the lights when looking at the board.
