You just bought a Mitsubishi montero sport 1997 and the stereo is lock do you know the code or how can you get the code to unlock the radio?

Contact the dealer from where the Montero was originally purchased (new from showroom). Give them the Chasis number and they will provide you with the stereo lock code from their records. In-case the code is same for all 1997 Montero sports models then use the number 9613. This is the audio code of my Montero sport 1997 . Maybe it works in yours too! Good luck.
