Is free Willy really free

During and befor the film was created, Kieko (the orca who plays willy in free willy 1+2) was a captive orca who preformed for crowds like orcas do today at marine parks such at Sea World Florida but after the film was realeased thousands of children started a campaighn to have Kieko realed. In the tank in Mexico (were he lived) he developed a skin problem due to the water in his tank. He moved to a different tank in america were the water was direct from the ocean and from the the campaighn made it so that Kieko was realeased into the wild with a pod of wild orca. He was found dead in Norwegian coastal waters where he remained after millions of dollars and a decade of work failed to coax him back to the open sea.
