Dark Magic vs. Black Magic. Is there really a difference?

Is there really a difference?

I have heard that black magic is normally used for your own personal gain. In other posts, I have heard that Dark magic is just the element used whether for the greater good or for the natural evil. For instance, a so called magician would use the element of darkness to dispel a possible "light elemental". But those of black magic could be seen arrogantly producing wealth and power for their own satisfaction. This is what I could come up with. I am wondering about others interpretations and comparisons of dark and black magic.
