Basically you get a y axis and an x axis (horisontal and vertical) and you put your information about what the graph is showing up either of the lines.
For example, if you were doing a graph on how much pf the Amazon rainforest we are losing each year, then you would write the amount we are losing up the y axis (going up) and the number of days it takes to lose the amount on the x axis.
Then (it is easier to do this on lined paper) you get a ruler and join up the point where the information is correct. Say, (if you were doing the Amazon rainforest idea) 200km on the y axis and 1 day on the x axis - mark it with an x.
Carry on doing this for all of the numbers.
Finally, get your ruler and join up all the x's in the middle.
