What labs do you check for hypovolemic shock?

In cases of hypovolemic shock, key laboratory tests include a complete blood count (CBC) to assess for anemia and hemoconcentration, electrolyte panels to evaluate for imbalances, and renal function tests to monitor for acute kidney injury. Additionally, blood gas analysis can help evaluate metabolic acidosis. Coagulation studies may also be performed if there is a concern for hemorrhagic causes.
