Yes, it is possible to trump while asleep, but only in light sleep. When you are in deep sleep your body is completely shut down, this is why you often cannot dream in the middle of the night. But when you are in light sleep (just after going to bed/ just before waking up) your body is slightly awake and alert, which means you can trump while sleeping.
