What is the Similarities and differences between Charles x and Louis xviii?

Charles X and Louis XVIII were both French monarchs from the Bourbon dynasty, but they differed significantly in their approaches to governance. Louis XVIII, who reigned from 1814 to 1824, sought to stabilize France post-Napoleon by adopting a constitutional monarchy and implementing moderate policies. In contrast, Charles X, who ruled from 1824 to 1830, was more reactionary, promoting ultra-royalist ideals and attempting to restore absolute monarchy, which ultimately led to his abdication during the July Revolution.
