Is the Ghostrider at Knott's Berry Farm a good ride for kids?

Uhhh... Ghost Rider is very thrilling and fun but once I took an 8 year old and he almost fell out of his seat. I'm not saying it is dangerous but I would not take someone less than 8 on this ride. Other wise, it is a very fun place.
