What kind of course takes a Cisco CCNA exam?

The Cisco.com website lists all the classes and exams you need to take to get a CCNA certification. The beginning class begins with Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices. If you have no previous networking experience, a CCNA certification will help you get in the door, but will do little else. Most industry professionals prefer experience over a CCNA.
