Why did french leave their home countries?

because they had needed more land and they wanted better fur and they wanted to fight the british because they was giving more thing's thang them and when they got to the british the british already had their guns out pointing at them so the french had went away the french had guns but the british had they guns out before them and im only 8 years old and im in 3rd grade
