How big can a baby peninsula cooter turtle grow if keeping in a small sized cage?

Keeping animals in small cages does not stop them from growing. The animal realises that they would run out of room if they keep growing so they eat less or stop eating. You HAVE to get your turtle a larger tank as he grows, it would be very inhuman to keep him in a too small tank and you could be charged with animal cruelty. If you don't feel that you can afford to keep your turtles in a caring, good hearted, NON CRUEL way then give it to a friend that can and will.
