Where coins are manufactured?

Coins are produced by a facility called a mint.

The US has four active mints:

Philadelphia and Denver make coins for circulation

San Francisco makes proof coins and some commemoratives.

West Point makes commemorative and bullion coins.
In the UK, coinage is produced at The Royal Mint, Llantrisant, Pontyclun, Mid Glamorgan, Wales.
