Will mail be a day late after holidays?

The USPS observes all Federal holidays. Other than the mail not being delivered on those days, the mail should not be delayed more than that day. Often the long distance carriers (trucks and aircraft) still travel on the holidays, so it is possible there would be no additional delay.
