I smell the wild dessert flowers after the little rain I get falls upon me,

I taste the thirst that comes to me every summer,

and

I feel the pleasantness of the weather every winter.

I feel my citizens' pressure as they pull the fish out of the water so they could provide food for themselves,

I am small, for people see me as a dot on most maps,

I hear the worships of the Islam religion,

I see my big next door neighbor, Saudi Arabia, on the West side of me,

I hear the compliments I get for being the first Gulf State to discover oil,

And because of all of this,

I am Bahrain!
