What are the tiny white worms that seem to be everywhere in my house. It is as if things moving behind skirting's and curtains. The house is not dirty and getting very annoying?

Most likely they are fly larva. You can just sweep them up and get rid of them outside, otherwise they will hatch out into flies in your house. Clean the floors in those areas really well with a 10% bleach solution to rid any dirt or smell that may be attracting the flies to lay their eggs there.
