What are the rules of snowboarding?

What was once considered a rebel sport and a nuisance to ski areas has grown into a popular winter sport. The half pipe is a long half cylinder of packed snow where the athlete performs tricks while moving from the start to the finish. Each run is scored by judges and is based on standard criteria and this sport has it for women and men.
There are no general rules for Snowboarding, only to stay within the boundaries of the mountain/ resort you are snowboarding at. If you are competing they should tell you the rules when you sign up or before you start.
