How do you change the headlight bulb on vauxall meriva?

open the boot

this reveals there a 4 screws down the vertical

(edge 2 on the light cluster

2 on the lower coloured bodywork edge moulding)

undo all 4 (black screws) you can see

gently lift out the cluster (on the outside edge of the car there are some retailing holes that help the light locate)

it feels like you are removing half the rear of the car! be gentle and it will come backwards

undo central light power clip

undo lower fog light powr clip

this should enable you to remove entire cluster (the corner of the car, well most of it!)

then there are two screws visible on the inside of the light cluster (silver screws)

remove these

unclip rear black moulding on lightcluster and this carefully hinges at botton

where two other clips need to be eased

revealing all bulbs

its a pain in the bum job but not impossible once you get the idea

it goes back easier than it comes out.

presumable they want to keep it as main dealer job!
