How do you beat the jade oni?

In Wizard 101, the jade oni is the final bad guy. At least one player was able to defeat him by using the following spell, weapons and traps: spell: wild bolt (treasure); weapons: storm blade (school spell) and elemental blade (school spell); traps: elemental trap, 2 storm traps (treasure spell); 1 storm trap (school spell); wind storm (school spell); dark wind (school spell); feint (school spell); and curse (school spell).
