A name for a solid food prepared from the pressed curd of milk, often seasoned and aged.

- actually that doesn't do it justice at all - it is a collective name for hundreds of beautifully crafted foods from soft creamy Bries to hard, biting Asiagos ,all of which incredibly delight the palate. (mmm i am drooling)
