What are the rules for the shoot out?

In a shootout, each team selects a set number of players (typically three) to take turns attempting to score on the opposing goalkeeper. Players take one shot each, and the team with the most goals after all players have shot wins. If the score remains tied after the initial round, additional rounds of shots are taken, often with teams alternating and using different players until a winner is determined. If a team fails to score while the opposing team does, the shooting team is eliminated from the competition.
