Scientific name of cheetah

The Word "cheetah" comes from a SanskritWord meaning variegated.

But the scientific binomial name Acinonyx jubatushas two parts: the Acinonyx part is this great cat's Greek genus name, meaning "no-move-claw", while the Latin species namejubatus means "maned" or "crested".

They are well renowned for their ability to accelerate from zero to sixty (mph) in three seconds.
