Are electric fireplaces wise

Yes electric fireplace is a great idea for several reasons. I actually got feed up and asked myself the same question, answered it went out and purchased an electric fireplace. Here are the reasons I found it to be a great idea:

1) No need to go out and buy those fire logs or gel fuel

2) No more cleaning, wiping, and wasting time

3) No more worrying about fire hazard

4) Come home after work, click a button; looks like a real fire, heats, and crates the sound. I also have an option of turning any of these on or off.
