How do you remove ignition cylinder from tilt steering wheel in a 1989 Buick Regal?

To remove the ignition cylinder from the tilt steering wheel of a 1989 Buick Regal, first, disconnect the negative battery cable to ensure safety. Then, locate and remove the steering column cover by unscrewing the screws. Insert a small tool or paperclip into the access hole on the side of the ignition cylinder while turning the key to the "Run" position to release the cylinder. Once released, pull the cylinder out gently.
