How many movie stars are lesbians?

There were rumors and some back-up statements that some actressed may have been lesbians or Bisexuals: Marlene Dietrich- by the way the German song was not named for her, but dated to World War I or earlier.. Joan Crawford, some have argued Bette Davis and some other (Strong woman types) I believe only Dietrich has been confirmed. While not an actress in the usual sense there were rumors about the tank-like Patriot Girl- Kate Smith. I heard a radio announcer on WBAI openly state ( a male announcer as I recall) Kate Smith was a Lesbian! Follow the Flag indeed!
