How many Atari consoles were sold?

Atari sold over 30 million units of its various consoles, including the Atari 2600, which was one of the most popular systems during its time. The Atari 2600 alone sold about 30 million units from its release in 1977 until the end of its production in the early 1990s. Other systems, such as the Atari 5200 and Atari 7800, contributed to the overall sales but in much smaller numbers.
