The smallest breed of rabbit recognized by the ARBA (American Rabbit Breeders Association) is the Netherland Dwarf. To qualify for showing, they must not weigh more than 2 1/2 pounds. The largest breed of rabbit is the Flemish Giant, which can weigh anywhere from 16 - 25 pounds.
