What are the disadvantages of conducting experiments?

I assume you mean within psychology? Some disadvantages of the scientific method are;

It lacks ecological validity.

Uses quantitative data rather than qualitative data. (however this is also a strength in some ways)

Demand characteristics, and unrepresentative samples.
