What continent is a group of islands?

North America is comprised of a group of islands, including Greenland and many large islands possessed by Canada, as well as numerous Caribbean islands. Europe also has several islands (Denmark, Britain, Ireland, Iceland, Greek islands, and even others). Asia has Japan, the Philippines Chines Taipei, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and others. Africa has Madagascar and several other small island groups. South America has the Falkland Islands, Easter Island, the Galapagos Islands, and others. Australia is a continent, rather than an island, but New Zealand and New Guinea are considered to be part of its continental shelf.
