Howard Hughes ordered a steam car built as a prototype. The biggest challenge was cooling the "used" steam back into water so the driver didn't have to stop more often for more water than fuel. The car had condensers (radiator-like units designed to use air flow to cool used steam back into water) built into the doors, fenders and roof. Since this surrounded the passengers in 200 plus degree water it would have boiled the passengers alive in a crash. Hughes gave the whole thing up and had the prototype destroyed along with all drawings and so on. As Hughes didn't like his failures to be known, there is little information available.
This is the only car I can think of with more than five radiators.
