We have 16 chickens. They get about 8 scoops of feed a day, plus 2 scoops of scratch, and an occasional bonus of vegetable scraps depending on performance. That equals out to about .5 scoops of feed per chicken, along with 0.125 scoops of scratch. The scrap bonus is highly variable.
Some chickens also have secondary free range jobs outside of the coop. Their earnings are increased depending on the area in which they live, but Spiders, bugs, grass, and other pickings are added to their income.
