No, as of the 2008 Summer Olympics, Cheerleading is not an Olympic event but it is in the running to be one.

There are rumors going around The Feirce Boards that it will be an exhibition in 2012 and then it will be decided wehter it will be an official olympic sport or not.

There are also some rumors I have heard through friends that pronound cheerleaders Hope Bravo, Meredith Fram, and Kiara Nowlin have their eye on being a part of that team.
