Author of city of god

The City of God, also called The City of God Against the Pagans, was written in the early 5th century by Augustine of Hippo. He is also known as the Bishop of Hippo, St. Augustine, or by St. Austin. He is without a doubt one of the most influential figures in the development of Western Christianity.
