Do dishwashers have fuses in them?

As we don't have the make and model of the a particular dishwasher only a general answer can be given: yes, some dishwashers may have fuses in them.

The only way to find out for sure for a particular make and model is to look in the User's Guide booklet to see if it tells you the answer. Or you could ask about it on the manufacturer's web site or in an electrical store which has technicians who service that make and model.

The question doesn't say for which country it is asking about. That may well make a difference to the answers which may be given.

For example in the UK every appliance which is supplied by a flexible cord with a plug will be protected by a fuse fitted into its plug.
