Today, for those pursing a career as a physical therapist, there is no such thing as a physical therapist with a bachelor's degree. The minimum degree for entry into the field is now a master's degree, and that may change in the near future to a doctorate. That being said, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics the estimated mean annual wage for a physical therapist as of May 2008 is, $74,410. This would amount to $35.77 an hour.
