What does a scavenger eat?

Scavengers are normally carnivores (and sometimes omnivores) who are some where in the upper parts of the food chain, but not quite at the top.

They have to rely on an apex predator hunting and making a kill, they will then eat what is left over.

Typical scavenger carnivores include hyena and vultures.
