Is ther a difference between snow owls and snowy owls?

as far as i know, they are the same thing. the correct name is snowy owl, but many people call them snow owls. Oh PEOPLE ANYWAYS HI DUDES i DIDN'T KNOW THERE WERE SNOW OWLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ANYWAYS U SPELLED DIFFERENCE WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
