Teen Challenge was founded by a charismatic preacher David Wilkerson in 1958 in New York and now has outreaches throughout the US & has a government recognition of an 86% cure rate. The faith based program is centered around the gospel of forgiveness thru faith in Christ and is offered to drug addicted teens, alcoholics, gang members, prostitutes and others.
