What is the meaning of the word circuit?

There are several uses/meanings of the Word circuit here are three:

1. a series of performances, sports events, lectures, etc., that are held or done at many different places. E.g., Johnny's on a singing circuit around Europe.
2. a path or trip around something. E.g. The Earth completes one circuit around the Sun each year.
3. the complete path that an electric current travels along. E.g. The circuit on that breaker goes through the bedroom then to the master bathroom.
