Does watering down ac unit help to cool down house?

That's a good way to blow up your AC unit. Some have to be filled with CFCs, but I'm not sure about yours. Spraying it with water is just a waste.

(window ac units work off water cause if ur coils are dirty it will keep it clean and run bette so in theory it does work to spray it off
