How do you take a 30g iPod apart?

If it is the 5th gen 30 GB or 60 GB you simply will run a guitar pic throughout the space between the back casing and the front. pry the front off. There will then be two ribbon cables that will both need to be removed. Remove them (carefully!) with a flathead screw driver. There will be a little lock you push up on, they will then become free and release.
