How was slave life in America?

It was tough. They had to work all day from the sunrise to the sunset. They had to grow stuff such as cotton and a lot of other farming job to do... I mean they had no life. They had no rights. Whites could beat the crap out of a black man without a problem, slaves couldn't even protect themselves by raising their hands... They were not allowed to be educated, but they still did... Slaves weren't treated as men, they were thought to be as a property. You don't wanna live that life!
