How do you remove newspaper jammed in toro snowblower auger?

I just had this happen to me.

I tried using a razor blade - it was working but spring would have arrived before I had all the paper out.

I tried burning the paper out with a propane torch - the paper was too wet to burn.

What finally worked was a sawzall with a flexible blade. That allowed me to cut the paper out of the auger.

If you take a pipe wrench and turn the auger back the opposite direction it should get it out. Good luck.
